Job Description

A medical benefits specialist is needed to work in our call center. Their job will be handling inquiries from customers about their prescription drugs and other related issues, as well as providing them with informative direction on what they need next for approval or denied claims based off of pre-existing conditions that may arise during the treatment process.

This job includes handling inbound calls and managing medical claims for a company’s benefits program. They must be able to work with clients remotely, as well as on-site at their office or home location if necessary.

The individual in this position handles benefits request investigations submitted to their web portal, which may include various inquiries for informative direction. They also must ensure that each case has medical information completed with correct procedure/diagnosis codes as per requested drug prescribed by physician’s note.”

As a healthcare professional, you are expected to have knowledge of appropriate procedure/diagnosis codes for each drug prescribed or requested by the patient. You will also be able to process medical benefits with acknowledgment from the company that they meet these requirements as well!

The Medical Benefits Specialist is a vital role in processing claims for medical benefits. They are responsible to make sure the information on an insurance claim form lines up with what’s being requested by patients, and they do this by checking all of it before calling out any plans or providers related questions regarding their script!

The Medical Benefits Specialist will be the go-to person for all things related to healthcare benefits. They are responsible and expected at any time of day, week, or month!
